I have had conversations with students who graduated with a 2.2 or third-class degree and decided to enroll in a PGD, thinking it would make up for that deficiency. While this may be possible in Nigeria, it generally does not work globally. For example, you cannot have a third-class degree in your bachelor's program, earn a first-class PGD, and automatically expect to be admitted into a Canadian university for an MSc program.
