Venus Williams defends Jannik Sinner following his loss at Roland Garros, โHe's never won a match over 3 hours & 50 minutes. So what? He's done everything elseโฆ Not only does he handle winning well, he handled losing with such graceโ
โOne of the big stories of the tournament was Sinner suffering from whatever happened on the court, heat or cramps and all the things.
So Sinner has never won a match longer than 3 hours and 50 minutes. These circumstances that players play under in tennis, it's incredible.
Maybe he hasn't won a match that's been over 3 hours and 50 minutes. So what? He's done everything else.
In my opinion, it's more of a fluke than a real stat. Not only insane conditions, but he dealt with it with his head up. He never quit. He never walked off the court. He never considered stopping even though it was the worst circumstances.
Not only does he handle winning well, he handled losing with such grace and such poise.โ โค๏ธ

ANOTHER UPSET AT THE FRENCH OPEN! ๐ฑ
With World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka's loss, there will be no former major champion left in both the men's or women's semifinal.
The last major when that happened was the 1977 French Open.
According to Corriere della Serra, Juan Carlos Ferrero says it would be wonderful to coach Jannik Sinner one day
He was asked if Darren Cahill were to retire, if he would be a great coach for Jannik Sinner:
โJust a few months ago, I would have said noโฆ the breakup with Carlos was fresh, I wouldn't have been ready. But now that I feel stronger, I say, โwhy not?โ Sinner loves to work hard and is willing to do anything to stay No. 1. I like his attitude. It would be wonderful to coach him."
