This is a heartbreaking story. When children cannot grow safely, when parents live in fear, when communities lose trust, our economy suffers too. Violence is not just a social issue; it is an economic wound.
We must strengthen our systems to protect every child
#16DaysOfActivism
We hosted a breakfast meeting with allies & stakeholders this #16DaysOfActivism to strategize & unite behind the @BeBraveGlobal campaign. A world without childhood violence would be $7 trillion richer, the 3rd-richest nation. https://t.co/RwwUbdixgp

A child did not “become a mother.” A child was defiled. When the media frames such case with soft or misleading headlines, it strips survivor's dignity and shifts the focus away from the crime.
The media must use survivor-centered language that tells the truth and centers justice. @NationAfrica stop sugarcoating crimes, you can do better. #RestoringDignity
The future of Africa shines through its children. Today, we celebrate the African Child and stand united to prioritize children’s rights, as every child deserves a future founded on care, protection, and opportunity. #dayoftheafricanchild#DAC2025
