I’m excited to announce a new release. Or rather, a re-release!Revised and re-edited, with new content: An Unintended Seduction, Book 1 of Unintended Chances. https://t.co/OuMbVHhtf5
@courtneymilan They were so happy to give the rich and the corporations their $3T tax break but didn’t want to pay a living wage. Yet they’re perfectly content forcing low wage workers back to work during a pandemic while screaming about the debt if we give them money to help out🤦🏻♀️.
@TessaDare Fingers crossed for you and the Mr. to stay safe and healthy. My mother is recovering from COVID and a host of co-morbid conditions that are probably related, and she’s still not out of the woods yet. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, and mom wasn’t even ventilated. #maskit
@AITA_reddit After 3 years LDR and supposedly loving her, and him knowing she’s a cancer survivor? He never asked for details? OP is clearly NTA. Ex is clearly TA here.
@BookEndsJessica I would love to query you, but the only things I have completed are previously published works I’m either 1) editing, 2) have self-pubbed, or 3) am still writing sequels to. Everything else is still WIP stage, sadly. But I’ll send you a query when I’ve got something! Promise!
@BookEndsJessica Hang in there! I don’t know if it’s any consolation, but you’ve been at the top of my dream agents list for years, because of all the sound advice and encouragement you provide authors.
@HFeliciaG There were many reasons I refused to acknowledge Heyer as foundational to writing Regency romance. Historical inaccuracy was one. This was another. I stopped reading her long ago and never looked back. I do my own “foundational” research.
@RoseLerner Beau Monde was the first RWA chapter I joined. It was also the first one I left, and the only one I left on principle. Bigotry, snobbery, and divisiveness drove me to leave. Nancy was one of the big reasons. Not to mention, her inaccuracies drove me nuts.
@ladrianaherrera Not surprised at all, though I really wish I was. I was a member during the LGBTQ romance isn’t real romance fiasco, and that slime never went away; it just went into hiding. Guess it’s back with a vengeance now. Thanks, DS 🙄.
@TessaDare My only hesitation was for the authors. But after reading the tweets by @helenkaydimon I’m decided. I’ll be rescinding my offer to judge, complete with the reason why.
@TessaDare I’m seriously trying to decide if I’ll stay as a judge. I signed up because of their inclusivity plug, but what they did to Courtney Milan is outrageous and unacceptable, not to mention revolting.
@TessaDare It is absolutely a Catholic tradition to pray for our leaders. Every mass I ever attended we did so, and I can remember back to Nixon. Sometimes it was by name, sometimes by title. But it was always among our prayers.
@MartyMakary@SecAzar You want to impress people? One act doesn’t negate the damage already done and doesn’t address the core issue. Doctors owning hospitals? OK, great. But what about health insurers making medical decisions? How much longer do they get to deny meds and care that doctors order?
