I believe the main issue is home & away supporters go on different routes to enter ground & based on safety advice, they may be advised against having to police a whole away entrance + away entrance within home supporter areas

@ChelseaVWR_ The Valley isn’t a completely “closed” ground so to get more allocation you’d be putting away supporters in a completely different stand nowhere near the Jimmy Seed stand, and then you’ll have people moaning about atmosphere. Lose lose situation.

Only slightly perhaps; probably down to not as many memberships sold/not as many wanted a ticket because we weren’t doing so good/we were on bad form.

Also you didn’t have to go through the hassle of choosing a potentially bought seat.

@Mister_Fernie @ChelseaVWR_ Nowhere near 44,000 haha. Ground is 40,000 capacity pretty much. Over half of that are sesson ticket seats. Then you have thousands given each for away fans and hospitality. I’d be surprised if there are more than 10,000 tickets available for members.

@ChelseaVWR_ Tbf im a bit surprised it isn’t just restricted to cfc blue. I thought they could have split the tickets in each window depending on the ratio of true blue and cfc blue memberships sold and just sold them exclusively to each one.
