@goodbroto Mind you their country is in the middle of a war and they still find time to be racist and sexist 😭 like babe worry about avoiding those Russian drones
@_Qkomari India introduced sugar making techniques to China. Does that mean every Chinese dish that uses sugar is Indian? Of course not. So why would China inventing silk make every silk garment Chinese? You're confusing the material with the tradition. See how your logic doesn't hold up
The dress on the left is an Indian choli, and the one on the right is a Chinese qipao. They're obviously not the same thing. If you're going to talk about cultural clothing, at least get the basics right.
@_Qkomari Ancient Indian clothing was primarily made from cotton and other natural fibers long before large scale silk trade with China. In fact, some of the earliest surviving cotton threads in the world have been found in the Indian subcontinent and date back thousands of years
@_Qkomari You're mixing up fabric and fashion. India didn't need Chinese silk to create cholis, dupattas, or saris they existed before large scale silk trade and were often made from cotton. China inventing silk doesn't mean China invented every garment later made from silk
@_Qkomari You're arguing against something nobody said. No one is claiming ancient Indians independently invented Chinese silk weaving techniques. Most people here wear cotton clothes? What are you talking about ? Making up your own argument and being schizo while calling me low iq 😭😭
@_Qkomari I never denied silk came from China 😭. Cholis and dupattas existed in India before large scale silk trade with China. Fabric origin ≠ clothing origin.
@softstargaze I don't get it, these people clearly hate us and our country but are so desperate to take our culture , bastardise it and claim it as their own
@girlistiired Deadass, I'm confused 😭 Are people getting all their cultural knowledge from Cdramas? A Chinese actress wearing something doesn't automatically make it Chinese. It's crazy how some of them can't even recognize when an outfit has obvious influences from outside their own culture
A qipao doesn't come with a dupatta/scarf draped around the neck like that. If you're calling it a traditional qipao, why does it have one of the most recognizable South Asian clothing elements? Pointing out obvious influences isn't claiming qipao is Indian?
Traditional Chinese clothing is beautiful, so there's no need to claim obvious Indian inspired elements as Chinese. The outfit shown doesn't look much like traditional Chinese dress, and pointing that out isn't hate it's just acknowledging the influences that are clearly there
Why do so many self proclaimed progressives turn into outright racists when it comes to Iranians and Indians? Your anti racism only applies to groups you like. Horseshoe theory is real cuz you guys are just as hateful as right wingers
