@lippyent Crawling under barbed wire in field training, cut my hand good. Bird Col. above me asked how I was doing, and I was to gung ho and used the f-word. Didn’t know the other emblem on his collar said he was the chaplain. Payed the price for that one.
@lippyent I did quite often in the mid 70’s. Dad told me an uncle of mine agreed to a penny a bale. Busted his ass all day for a ten dollar bill. He wasn’t very happy after that. Don’t think he ever did it again.
@andyserling For me it’s going to be Knightsbridge in the Met. Every time he has an Eq. # in the 90’s he turns in a better # next out. Hope that 121 lbs. makes the difference. Good connections. Up against good ponies in this one.
@lippyent Started my career in 83 in one of these. Locked my keys in one day on the route. Small air vent in front of the door. Tore out the screen. Young black kid’s arm fit through it and unlocked it. .357 stuck in back of his pants. Kid saved my day.
@lippyent Grew up in Indiana in the country. Always had a garden and there is absolutely nothing like homegrown tomatoes. Still put out about 5 plants each year at my dad’s property. Had one plant recently that produced 31 tomatoes. Nothing like them.
@1Nicdar Follow you and like a lot of your posts but this is plain fukin stupid. Got a 92 year old dad who’s still alive and likes to cast a vote. Can’t leave the house unless an emergency much less stand in a fukin line. He can’t be the only one out there.
@Super70sSports Was 11 in the summer of 73. Lived in the country. Picked up bottles in all directions. Mom and I filled up 2 full shopping carts at the grocery store. Got a lot of stares. Can’t remember how much I got $ but I had a big smile on my face.
@lippyent I had orange peelers on a 1984 Isuzu trooper 4 speed. Came home around midnight one night and it went off in an underpass. Turns out an unmarked cop car was heading the other direction. Chased me down because he thought a 12 gauge was fired. He wasn’t happy.
@1Nicdar Been eating them since I first had one back in the late 70’s. at Shakey’s ( item #17). Anchovies usually not, everything else is fair game. If you’re hungry you eat!
@Phil_Sledge Rescued Bogart from another city 16 weeks ago. Told myself I wouldn’t do it but gave in. Caught him putting a strong eyeball to my lunch the other day. Might have helped himself. Looks guilty!
@1Nicdar Still have 4 out of the 6! These filing cabinets came out of the Ball Brothers glass jar factory offices in Muncie, Ind. in the 1930’s. Made about 30 years before that. Open and shut perfectly.
@JohnGDooley Dad took me to my 1st horse race in the summer of 68 at River Downs. Wasn’t long after that I remember Perry sitting on a pony in the winner’s circle. He had pink cheeks. I think he’s about 7 years older than me. King of the Ohio circuit!
@lippyent Back in the mid 70’s worked in the carnival for one of dad’s friends. One of the stands I worked in had glass bowls with goldfish in them. Ping pong ball in got a fish. Traveled I’ll.,Ind. and finished at the Ohio State Fair right before school started.
@FanDuel_Racing @ChristinaFDTV I personally believe Gerardo Corrales is very underrated and not given enough opportunity by the big name trainers on the top bloodlines. Currently at Turfway and reminds me a lot of Bejarano when he was starting out in that area.
If Isiah Pacheco scores a touchdown and the Chiefs win SB LIX, we'll give an Isiah Pacheco autographed jersey to someone who reposts this post and follows us!
@StolenValor1 Went through boot in 1981, had a kid from Puerto Rico who spoke no English. Taught him the claymore with only eye contact and hand signals,(worked out). Sgt’s. told other Hispanic recruits he would speak it or there would be hell to pay.
If Noah Gray scores a touchdown and the Chiefs beat the Texans today, we'll give a Noah Gray autographed jersey to someone who reposts this post and follows us!
