Walked out onto the flight line today to watch a visiting aircraft practice its 20-min demo profile.
In a word, awesome.
The F-22 is an amazing aircraft. I will always love my F-4 but man oh man, to be back in pilot training again...
The initial takeoff into the vertical:
Pitchers Garrett Crochet and Chad Dallas were roommates and became close friends at the University of Tennessee!
Yesterday, they shared a Major League field for the very first time 🤝
Imagine a man who believed in you so much that as they put nails through his hands and feet, he begged the creator to forgive them, "for they know not what they do"
That man suffered immensely for you. The night before, he sweat blood. The following day, they beat him with spiked whips and chains until he had hundreds of wounds.... then they layed him on a cross and nailed him to it while they mocked him....
And the entire time, he was praying for their salvation. He was dying for yours and mine. He replaced a debt we could never pay with his own blood.
Imagine if that was just a man. You'd call him a hero..... You'd hang ribbons on his gravestone and build statues in his honor....
But he wasn't just a man. 3 days later he rose from the dead and scattered his followers to all corners of the world to spread the good news.
Christ is King..... and he is waiting for you with open arms to join his kingdom.

Best of luck to Braydon in '27 at @Vol_Baseball. Should be an easy front runner for the Olerud TWP of the year in '27 if he gets the same innings in Knoxville that he did at Mercer.

A Lady Vol legend.
Last June, Taylor Pannell entered the transfer portal. Less than 12 hours later, Pannell committed to Texas Tech.
On Saturday, Pannell claimed Karen Weekly told her she “made a mistake.” Less than 12 hours later, video proved otherwise ⬇️

Sophia has been an AMAZING addition to the team. The spark she’s provided in the LO position and patrolling in center has improved our team in ways I hadn’t anticipated.
You won’t believe me but she’s actually my 2nd fav for all the reasons (and more) listed above. That little spark plug is a game-changer.
And I love her focus on her faith. She’ll never go wrong there.
No, I agree with that. But the location of the throw was different, too, and it looked like she had to move slightly away and forward of her desired position. Could be wrong about that, but that’s my perception.
First throw was perfect, the second was close. Nothing wrong with either of those things, but they’re different, as is every situation or play.
I’m convinced Elsa will be an All-American sooner than later. As someone who spent a LOT of time donning the Tools of Ignorance behind the plate, she’s outstanding, especially for a true freshman. I’ve been massively impressed with her this year.
I bumped into her mother in the stands in Starkville & told her Elsa’s my favorite Vol (maybe a bit biased as a former catcher). Elsa has done nothing to change that.
She did it about as well as she could. I don’t like the obstruction rule, but it’s there and too often used by the opposition. And I say that as a long time catcher who didn’t have to deal with the rule.
I’d prefer we go back to allowing contact but until that happens, Elsa performed beautifully.
