Publisher in @Landskeria. Poetry books: Mistaken for art or rubbish (2013)
Rhymes for all times (2015)
In the Men's Room (2021) Threatening cuts (2024).
New @AlexanderVelky poetry book coming this summer. Funded entirely by sales of 7" vinyl singles from 1979–'95 and... hair. 100% state-unfunded and thus ideologically beholden to no recognized authority.
It's called "Threatening cuts ✂️" and it's about mortality. You'll love it.
Cue a repost of this 2015 #blog about my days working at defunct music website Playlouder, and the time I bought a second-hand copy of *my own poetry book* off Amazon dot com... The sad fate of a self-published poetry book sent to a broadsheet for review: https://t.co/T1E5FDVA8J
Video of the title poem from the new Doubtist Books publication. If you would like a narrower video, you can see that on the poet's narrow media channels
vid for poem "Threatening cuts" now live: https://t.co/LWvWpoXnlO
It involves the poet cutting his hair and reading a poem about him cutting his hair in order to sell his hair in order to fund the manufacture of a poetry book containing this poem, which is about him doing that.
This is a real interview. No complaints will be fielded. There's some interference on the mic due to extra-terrestrials. They have since been eliminated. You can buy the book "Threatening cuts" from my website (if I got the PayPal code right): https://t.co/9bTCvkW40C

Posting some of the #poems from the upcoming, and existing @Doubtist Books on my new (v much wptk-in-progress) website, along with dodgy AF AI imsges:

10 years since "Please don't fund my art" was uploaded to YouTube and the (now defunct) Doubtist Books website, marking the de facto beginning of @AlexanderVelky's poetry career. One cannot deny that the public took its message to heart 🖤

Now usually I don't do this but uh... go 'head on break 'em off with a lil' previews of the sixth-century Welsh hermit-saint narrative-poetry video project.
Happy #StDogmaelsDay to all who observe it!
In veneration of @Landskeria's national day and our patron, I'm posting a #poem I wrote in 2018. I was going to hand-write the whole thing, but it took me 20 minutes to do this title, so I think that's sufficiently venerative...
Happy 1st birthday to "In The Men's Room" by @AlexanderVelky! We have no website and *m*z*n is a pain; so if you want a copy, pull in at the lay-by by Pont Mynachlogddu, walk down the public footpath over the bridge, and knock on the door of the first wooden shed on the left.
