@wert_nate @ldsknack @NebraskaMegan I know that forgiveness was written into the PPP but I think a lot of people are asking why can’t a similar programme be used for students as it invests in the future? I think the student loan relief will be a fraction of $ amount of the PPP fraud alone. Debt impedes mobility.

It’s one rule for the rich and the super rich and another for poorer students. Btw l believe their loan forgiveness is limited in respect to their potential earnings.

Btw stating that it is their tax dollars and not a loan is a stretch of the imagination that is quite fabulous considering that their rates are generally lower than the working classes taxes in the first place!

Capitalism is what businesses embrace until a forewarned pandemic shows up then it’s socialism. Why is education now a commodity and not a great benefit for business? It’s strange!
