I hate these modern gyms.
I hate the bright colours, clean surfaces and pop music.
Give me the dark, shadowed room, worn in machines and pull up bars...
I love the cracked walls and chalked covered floors, it gives the place depth.
The 10 year old boxing bags hanging from the rusted chains...
It gives the place meaning and emotion.
Every emotion on the scale has been felt there.
Literal blood, sweat and tears have been grinded out there.
Keep your polished seats.
