Today the crumbling Hotel Renakse sits empty in Phnom Penh', being slowly reclaimed by nature. But in the early 1990s, the hotel played host to three decisive moments in the reintroduction of press freedom to Cambodia. Report by @AlMcCready1

@quinnlibson Additionally, I'm pretty sure MOH is evaluating whether Sinovac is going to require a third or booster dose. It is too early to have valid data on that but it seems to be a concern.
@quinnlibson I think we disagree on premises. From what I've seen, Sinovac is fairly effective at preventing death or need for a respirator starting several weeks after one dose. What a single dose is garbage at is preventing you from catching mild Covid and retransmitting.
@quinnlibson The best vaccine is whatever one you can get first. That said, Sinovac and Sinopharm seem to be less effective than Pfizer/Moderna/AstraZenica at preventing you from contracting Covid. All vaccines seem to be about equally effective at preventing death & hospitalization.
@DaveBenaim@noansereiboth Best guess is it is one of the subsidiaries of the Metallurgical Corporation of China. One of MCC's subs has the contract for the new Phnom Penh Airport. Another has various road construction projects.
@KampongNews That thing is not a U.S. weapon. It is a shoddy fake manufactured in Thailand that should only be fired by someone who believes they have too many fingers.

@DaveBenaim@bora_kem Most of the data coming out is MOH but have also seen an aggregate number of MOD personnel vaccinations. About 200k. Have you seen any geographic breakdown of how many of those are PP/Kandal vs. provincial?
The cat in this photo is less than an hour dead. Of rabies. Unprovoked, he attacked six of our kids and at least three other cats in the area. The cat had been vaccinated for rabies 3-4 years ago but obviously the antibodies wore off.
@geraldrflynn@KhmerTimes If you can find some corrections in the Malaysia Mail, Malaysia Today or The Star, perhaps they can be 'adapted' to respond to how Sopheap Chak was misquoted.

@Lisa_Twaronite Spoilsport. How about instead, they start a new event. Line up the runners at the start line, release a covid positive person behind them and the winner is whoever reaches the finish line AND passes the Rapid Coronavirus test.
