If you don’t want a better #SouthSudan, and are okay with the status quo then don’t stand in the way of those of us vested in bettering this country for our kids. We will die trying if we must. Maybe then, they will be free, respected, contented, and prosperous.
Traders should not pay taxes to the government if the government is incapable of protecting their business and properties and even compensating their losses.
Taxes, levies, fines, custom duties should be followed by services💯. Facts are very stubborn and do not take breaks.
When cultures collide, fairness in international law and institutions and state-craft and the art of leadership are interesting read . I highly recommend them.

As South Sudan faces an economic crisis and slowdown, and since President Kiir is expected to announce the new Vice President for the Economic Cluster, what areas should the President focus on when selecting a candidate with economic expertise?
The problem with Twitter is that many people have very few real-life connections with those they interact with online, yet they rush to judge others solely based on their tweets. Labeling @ArolDut a psychopath or dismissing him altogether is a serious misunderstanding of who he truly is.
For context, I have known Arol since 2016 when I was working in Nairobi managing a project. He was part of a group of bright, intellectually curious students, people who were eager to learn and think critically, many of whom have since become leaders. As you can see from the old photos of this event we held in 2017 in Nairobi. we reconnected in Juba about three years ago and later collaborated on a few projects before he left for London under the Mo Ibrahim Scholarship, one of the most competitive and respected scholarships out there.
Arol’s opinions might not appeal to everyone, but he is an accomplished, reflective individual and, above all, a brother I have known and respected for years. Incidentally, one of the young people from that 2017 event is Gai Mayen, now in exile and among the most vocal opposition voices. Let’s learn to create space for dissent and opposing views, our discourse is richer for it.
@ajongo2000 Best wishes in your next career endeavour Hon. Amb Chol 🙏🏾 You have played a major role and inspired many of us whom might fellow your path. Thank you for your selfless dedication and hard work. Politic is a journey and you will travel further in times to come.
I have learnt to accept the fact that;
Sometimes I don’t know it all.
Sometimes I can be wrong and should be corrected.
Sometimes someone else knows more about something that I thought I knew.
And that it’s okay to be corrected, as long as I’m not being ridiculed.

"We have resources. For example, oil. We want to use the oil money to fuel agriculture. He also mentioned that there must be a true social contract between the people and their government; there must be a relationship.”
Few days ago some tech bros on #SSOX, were trolling @nyUol23 after he organized the Bitcoin meetup, they really missed the point, Nyuol is so deep in this work and is currently collaborating with devs and builders from the continent and beyond, rarely do huge movements start big, watch this space over the coming months and see how this movement will snowball into a massive community with big projects.
