In August 1967 The Doors enter the studio to record “Moonlight Drive” for STRANGE DAYS.
Long before the studio sessions, this was the song that sparked the band into existence when Jim sang it to Ray on Venice Beach. The lyrics were born on a nearby rooftop, where Jim spent his nights quietly watching the world move below.
