The French league is only marginally better than the Belgian league. If Christos Tzolis was playing in the French league and has 17 goals 23 assists last season, he will be priced at at least £70m.

Signing Christos Tzolis for £35m will be very shrewd business by Arsenal. The fact that he will be coming as a back up makes it even sweeter.

It is amazing how the media is not talking about the downfall of Chelsea in the last 4-5 years.

They won the Champions league then just 3 seasons after they were playing in the Conference league ( not even Europa league ).

They then won the conference league and the club world cup to paper over their cracks. Just a season later, they are not even in Europe at all.

And all these happened in a period they spent over £2 billion on new players.

Yes they sold some players but it takes an extreme level of delusion to remotely believe they have not regressed in the last 4-5 years.

After almost seven years at this club, it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me.

I arrived at this club when I was 18 years old. Far from home, barely speaking the language, trying to adapt to a completely new culture, new life and chasing a dream that felt so big at the time.
