@NTGates it was another superb episode with beautiful footage throughout, but why was the decision made to feature non-native ponies as conservation grazers? Why not Exmoor ponies?
@BrecklandSci my key bunch is so weighty it spends most of the time on the bench in the prep room, I colour coded keys that look similar but have been here so long now that I know them all by sight π€£
@BrecklandSci root tip squashes to look for mitosis... because pupils struggle to do this well and find mitotic cells but if I help by looking at their preparations and then find some they're delighted!
It's British Science Week and the 4th form are having a Brain Week! We've got a sheep's head demonstration dissection, we've got jelly mousse brains for labelling, pupils are prodding, reacting and connecting on lots of brainy activities in their science lessons

@Love_plants only the leaves so far this year for me too, but then I haven't heard a cuckoo yet either and they usually coincide. Is that why this plant is also called the cuckoo pint?
