Last term Downview competed in the annual swimming gala. 15 schools took part. We are proud to announce Downview were the overall winners! Not only were they winners in the water but all of them demonstrated excellent sportsmanship by cheering each other on. Go Downview!!!!
Cedar Class had some play leader training this morning. The aim was to upskill these children to deliver fun, active playground games to KS1 during breaktimes and lunchtimes. Well done Cedar Class!
The races were 1,400 meters which was two laps around the streets of Chichester. The runners showed true sportsman ship and motivated one another to cross the finish line. Many of our runners placed within the top 20 & some of the teams came within the top 10! Well done guys!
We are so incredibly proud of all of the children who have competed in the Chichester Corporate Challenge over the three races. They have battled the cold, the rain, the wind and a little sun but all of the children displayed their true resilience and determination…
The Year 3 and 4 girls football team took part in a football festival at the Arena. The girls learnt a range of key skills. Then they applied the skills to some friendly matches. Well done Downview!
A special mention to the Downview B team who won their tournament! Some incredible performances and goals scored. The team spirit was quite remarkable!
