Recommendations for a really good RI Employment/Discrimination lawyer that wants to support a teacher w/mental health! Saying union contract overrides federal/FMLA laws made me mad. Told that suffering from PTSD and DR said no work was my CHOICE to not return … ready to fight!

Looking for RI legal advice to file complaint for possible violation of FMLA rights by former employer PPSD. Applied, PPSD gave me official designation letter for time off (have copies) Now 2 years later PPSD lawyers say I was not eligible - deemed all absences unexcused. DOL?

@PPSDTruthTeller Who is really in charge of PPSD? State government offices such as RI Commission for Human Rights believes all legal documents/actions include PPSD and City of Prov, Treasurer - no mention of RI Dept of Ed on official disability complaints

@StephMachado @mkeierleber Also wonder if they were able to find all the harassment and discrimination reports I filed against admin that was never acknowledged or proof I sent about kid’s IEP safety mandates being ignored and kids in danger?? Not one person from PPSD ever responded - 1 kid went to ER

@StephMachado @mkeierleber Don’t you just love it when you put out a warning many months ago and it comes true - k ew there was issues with PPSD handling of pension $$ back in February! The pension board said they have never heard of this happening - bet their voting their tongue

@WPRITV I brought up this issue back in February - 2 years of pension $ and working credit was missing and everyone on board and district was “shocked”. ai knew I wasn’t only one !!!

@TedNesi @Eli_Sherman I first brought this up earlier this year when I randomly discovered they never gave my pension $ to the state or gave me credit for working there - Now wonder if it was ever fixed - will be calling pension board Monday! They said I would be reviewed!!
