The Area Contest is this Saturday, April 11, at San Jacinto College’s Slocomb Auditorium.

Congratulations to the Deer Park Varsity Winter Guard for winning first place at area competition!

With this accomplishment, the Varsity Winter Guard has qualified for the TCGC State Championships, which will take place on April 18 in San Marcos.

Congratulations to the Deer Park Indoor Percussion group, which participated in the area competition on Saturday and advanced to state competition!

The state competition takes place on April 11 at the Fort Bend County Epicenter, and Deer Park competes at 4:04 p.m.

Thanks to the @DEERPARKTXGOV LEPC for donating 200+ shelter in place backpacks to DPISD. Each backpack contains supplies to help secure exterior classrooms during a chemical emergency. Pemex Deer Park delivered the last group of backpacks to the District.

The annual “Game Against the Seniors” basketball game hosted by Deer Park Special Olympics is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, at Watkins Gym, which is located at @DPISD_South.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the game will start at 6 p.m.! This event is open to the public.
