My mother, a J&K Government teacher, had applied for a station/country leave in December 2025 for June–August 2026. An earlier application during my pregnancy also expired because the department failed to process it. It’s now July and the file is still lying on a clerk’s table.

Because of this administrative apathy, my mother couldn’t be with me during my pregnancy, my C-section or my postpartum recovery in the UK. This isn’t just a delayed file, it’s a family that has suffered because of the bureaucratic negligence.

I request your immediate intervention and accountability from the concerned department.

@fyzbhat You’re absolutely right. Transparency and timely tracking of files would significantly improve accountability. Applicants shouldn’t have to rely on repeated follow-ups just to know the status of their cases.

For the record, the vigilance clearance was already issued nearly two months ago, and I possess official documentary proof of the same. The real issue is that the file has reportedly been lying in a clerk’s office at the Civil Secretariat under File No. Edu-NG K/102/2025 (7621995) for the past two months without any movement. Therefore, the delay is clearly not due to vigilance clearance. I hope the inquiry considers the complete factual record, identifies the actual cause of the delay, fixes accountability, and ensures that my mother’s long-pending case is resolved without any further delay. @GreaterKashmir @JKACB @Director_SEK @SchoolEdujkut @OmarAbdullah @sakinaitoo @parawahid
