You know what I’ve been thinking about? There are far more racist people in this country than I ever realized.

I have been blown away watching people celebrate the death of a White teenage boy simply because the person who killed him was Black.

This teenager was not on drugs. He was not a troublemaker.

He had never committed a crime.

He played sports, made good grades, respected his parents, and was loved by so many people.

Yet some people have found joy in his death because they care more about race than right and wrong.

That is not justice. That is racism, hatred, and pure evil.

Two Pakistani-born Democrats - Suleman Lalani & Salman Bhojani - both sworn in on the Quran, have been fighting to drive Islamic priorities into Texas law:

• Honoring Pakistan Day (a country with blasphemy laws and persecution of non-Muslims)

• Pushing halal food mandates in public schools (Allah-slaughtered meat funded by Texas taxpayers)

• Elevating Ramadan, Eid, and Muslim Heritage Month for 10 years

The list goes on and on.

But Democrat Cassandra Garcia Hernandez isn’t outraged about any of that.

She’s whining and crying because people are calling out these two Pakistani-born men for trying to Islamize Texas through legislation and official state recognition.

She calls it “hate” and “discrimination” when anyone notices the pattern.

These aren’t random cultural gestures.

This is deliberate.

They came from a country that treats non-Muslims as second-class citizens and are now using their positions in the Texas House to normalize the same religious-political demands here - one resolution and one bill at a time.

Texas is not Pakistan.

And we shouldn’t be importing its ideology.

In 2010 Obama put the federal government directly in charge of lending money to students. Eliminating private lending made the loans much easier to get, but they were not less expensive.

Before Obama took office, outstanding student debt was less than $100 billion. By 2015, outstanding student debt was approximately $800 billion and almost a third of the borrowers were in default. Of course the price of college continued to soar the entire time.

This is the best part. Payne predicted that someday the politicians would be promising to forgive student debt as a way to buy votes. He was spot on.

There are people like Ro Khanna on this site right now arguing that Elon Musk should be paying down the student debt when it's a problem that politicians created.
