While at @UTDallasChemBio, Danielle designed new materials and methods to make biocompatible 3D printable polymers in the @Smaldonelab. Graduating w/ a Ph.D. in 2020, she went right to Dow Chemical as a senior research specialist!

I thought having a job after school would mean getting trained and performing specific tasks. Being effective in a job means continuing to learn everyday.

In my PhD program I often felt WHAT I was learning was the most important, but HOW I learned is what has been key for me.
