1: Canada didn't deploy its military
2: So Russia killing political opponents is fine because in other countries, politicians also do bad things (or not, see 1)?
3: If we are in the business of changing the subject: Trump is treating to punish and deport people who "illegally protest". What exactly is an "illegal protest" in the land of the free?
@GoneFishin8gain@mindthelongterm@elonmusk Yeah, sure, those fair and free elections under Russian military occupation surely represent the will of the Ukrainian people. You do understand Russia doesn't even have legitimate elections for their own people, right? Right???
I can't believe someone is actually using the "vote" of the occupied areas as a legitimate reason for anything. I remember watching it on the news at the time, not understanding why Russia is even trying with this farce because nobody would ever believe that people under Russian military occupation ever hat anything resembling a free vote. But here we are, I guess...
Like not even the Russians in Russia have actual elections, but of course, the "elections" on annexed enemy territory were totally legitimate.
1. All the poles I've seen would suggest him being reelected
2. There are no elections because they are at war. Even the opposition came out - again - to say that election will only be possible after the war. Again: the people running against Zelensky agree with the martial law which makes elections impossible. Both legally and logistically.
I don't care what Musk says.
@aule10@ROThornhill8@Mike_Pence@FoxNews Oh yeah, those soldiers that came over the Russian border without insignia on their uniforms that totally weren't Russian soldiers but were supported and financed by russia. My bad.
You want Ukraine to sign a "treaty on friendship, cooperation and partnership" with Russia in 2019 while being at war with them since 2014? How does that make sense? Who would sign that agreement? Who wouldn't work with the west to seek protection from Russia - while being attacked by Russia?
@BlakelyMon23561@petrl_me@NZeeme2@BorisJohnson You think if the mexican military occupies california there would not be a military response by the US? Are you serious? That explains so much...
