.@tandfn announced the 2025 High School Boys Athlete of the Year is @CooperLutk68303.

The 16-year-old from Justin, Tex., broke the high school national record in the 800m at the Brooks PR Invitational in 1:46.26 in June but then established a new U18 world record in 1:42.27 in July to qualify for the U.S. team at this year's World Athletics Outdoor Championships.

Tate Taylor, Quincy Wilson, Owen Powell and Jackson Cantwell were among other top finalists for the award.
