My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
Like other Govt employees who are discharging duties in good faith,Medical professionals also shall be given safety net. Medical innovation can not thrive under hanging swords of Harrassment.
What Govt needs to learn from incident of Dr Archana Sharma
1. There shall be Prior permission of health department before registering FIR against a Dr ( dis is Already available for Govt servants)
2. If FIR registered, there shall be special Courts to deal such matters quickly.
3. There shall be special penal provisions if complaint found Not genuine.
4. There shall be listing of disease and complexities which are beyond hands of Dr and often turns in adverse. This shall be in public domain.
