🔹 Blood glucose >250 mg/dL

Newer guidelines:
🔹 Blood glucose ≥200 mg/dL OR known diabetes

Why the change?
Because “euglycemic DKA” is increasingly recognized — especially in patients using SGLT2 inhibitors, pregnancy.
