🍁 Meet the #TeamCanadaOfCancerResearch: A Q&A with @Dr_Ouellette 🍁
In 1980, Rodney Ouellette was a student in a small New Brunswick town when a young man from British Columbia visited his school.
Little did he know, that that chance encounter would change his life. (1/2)
Dr. Rodney Ouellette, senior researcher at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute and member of @CancerAtlantic, presents his research at the @CCRAlliance#CCRC2023.
His research into liquid biopsies seeks to accelerate #precisionmedicine for patients with lung cancer.

Over the years, ACRI has been able to recruit top talent and acquire a state of the art sequencing facility. The facility and expertise is now being utilized and mobilized in collaboration with the Vitalité Health Network to perform COVID Variant Sequencing right here in NB.
@HelpSolveCancer Using this liquid biopsy technology we can get a complete snapshot of information that will guide us in detection, prognosis and predicting treatment response in cancer. Will require new artificial intelligence tools to completely analyze data. Exciting times! #helpsolvecancer
@HelpSolveCancer Very important work that we just published. This method allows for maximum extraction of biological information from a simple blood sample.#liquid biopsy #helpsolvecancer#acri
ACRI publishes new article in Nature - Scientific Reports on using an ACRI-developed liquid biopsy technology to enable multi-omic (DNA, RNA and Protein) profiling from the same limited starting material.
