Today, 2nd August 2026, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi will virtually inaugurate and address the nationwide campaign "#GenZ Against Addiction, Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan".

Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education invites students, teachers, school management committees, parents and communities across the country to join the virtual address and take the #NashaMuktBharat Pledge.

As part of the #NashaMuktVidyalaya Action Plan, schools across the nation are encouraged to organise awareness and sensitisation activities against tobacco consumption and substance abuse, reaffirming their commitment to creating tobacco and drug-free educational institutions. Let us come together to empower Gen Z to lead the movement towards a healthier, addiction-free Viksit Bharat.
