If VS Code works for you, keep using it.

Cursor becomes interesting when you want AI to understand more of your codebase, edit multiple files, and speed up repetitive work. Try it, then decide if it actually saves you time.

Consistency looks boring while you’re doing it, but 8 months later it turns into millions of impressions and thousands of connections.

Most people probably quit during the “nobody cares” phase. That’s where the real filter is.

At first it feels disappointing, then you realize competition is actually validation that people care about the problem.

The goal isn’t always to be unique. Sometimes it’s just to solve it better, simpler, or for a more specific audience.
