@UNFPA_Zimbabwe together with the @naczim & key partners, is convening an engagement meeting with members of the @ParliamentZim Portfolio Committee on Health today in Harare.
In 🇿🇼, nearly 1 in 4 girls aged 15–19 are already mothers or pregnant, & 1 in 3 young women are married before 18. Building on the @YPNZimbabwe led #NotInMyVillage initiative to end #AdolescentPregnancy, we are engaging members of @ParliamentZim on taking the campaign to constituency level through the #NotInMyConstituency campaign.
Together, lawmakers, traditional leaders, & communities are uniting to end child marriage, adolescent pregnancy, and preventable maternal deaths.

Another banger from @AKWilk
"When I first started investing, I fell prey to this pitfall of first order thinking: quarterly results are good, so why is the stock down? This caused me a lot of confusion early on. Sometimes, the answer was positioning, expectations, a weak market or something else that didn't matter very much. Other times, the answer is much simpler."

At the heart of #KuraNawe is a simple idea: young people should be able to get reliable information, advice & care when they need it, in a place where they feel comfortable asking. That matters particularly in TVET schools — health & education aren’t really separable.
Today, we received medical equipment donated by @UNFPARwanda , with the support of @LUinKigali , under the #KuraNawe Programme, to strengthen the Kirehe TSS TVET Care Centre and its linked health facilities.
Established last year, the #KuraNawe Programme is a national initiative by UNFPA and its partners that aims to boost adolescent and youth development by integrating primary healthcare, including sexual and reproductive health, mental health support, gender equality and life skills into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Yesterday, UNFPA🇷🇼 together with @LUinKigali & @sfhRwanda visited the #KuraNawe TVET Care Centre at Paysannat LD in @KireheDistrict.
Supported by the Government of Luxembourg, the #KuraNawe Program is strengthening youth-friendly services in TVET institutions.

Access to lifesaving healthcare plus SRH services in TVET is a strategic approach to ensure girls & boys don’t have to choose btw health & education as they navigate their journeys towards empowerment. The TVETCare Centres help to actualise this @UNFPA@UNFPA_ESARO@LUinKigali
