The #Rams were already pretty good. Presumably, they'll be even better with Myles Garrett. That 2027 1st rounder might be only a pick or two better than a 2nd rounder. The 2028 2nd rounder only a little ahead of the 3rd round. The 2029 3rd rounder almost a 4th rounder. Go #Browns.
The Browns are absolutely cooking right now
Obviously there has been some emotional responses to the Garrett trade which is fair enough, as he is one of the best edge rushers in NFL history who just broke the sack record. But he is 30 years old, with likely only 2-3 years of peak level play remaining.
Since Verses rookie year, the only players with more ESPN pressures than him are Garrett (119) and Parsons (109). Verse sits on 99, and has 3 years of team control, making pennies for 2 of them, and is 5 years younger than Myles. PFF pressures had Verse recording only 4 less pressures than Garrett last year (80 vs 84) to use another source. Another thing as well; Verse is a 3 down guy. He lead the NFL in total snaps.
He’s a top 10 DE with serious room to improve; a lot of the players currently better are much older (Hunter, Garrett) have medical concerns (Bosa, Crosby) or held out last season and are old too (Hendrickson). With natural progression you could see him being in the top 5 for the next few years
That’s not the main point though. Look at all the talent the Browns have added in their last two drafts
2025: Mason Graham was beginning to
play very good football before breaking his ribs in week 13. Schwesinger won DROY. Harold Fannin Jr was one of the best pass catchers among rookies, and there was a semblance of a running back room forming with Judkins (ahead of schedule with his ankle atm) and Sampson.
2026: Added 4 players in the top 60. Spencer Fano, Concepcion, Denzel Boston, McNeil-Warren. That’s without considering picks 86, 146 and 149 who could also work out.
2027: They own all of their own picks aside from round 6. Plus an extra 1st, 2 4ths, a 5th and a 7th. 11 picks in 2027 where they’ll likely be picking high once again.
Existing talent like Alex Wright who graded out well last year and Denzel Ward still there as well.
They definitely need to be looking at QBs in 2028, a cornerback and more offensive line pieces. But Andrew Berry might be cooking…this is a perfect example of what a rebuild should be.
#Browns fans: Denzel Ward is next. No real sense to have a 29 year-old cornerback on a team that is two or three years from truly competing. Also need all the picks they can to get the QB they want in the next draft. Won't be with the team by the trade deadline.
If the jobs of The Masters of the Universe are not safe right now, how about the rest of ours. Hedge Fund manager says "agents" now doing in hours or days what it took his crew of PhDs and Masters in finance do in months.
Ken Griffin went home on a Friday "fairly depressed" after watching AI agents at Citadel do work that used to take teams of PhDs in finance months to complete. Done in days.
His words: "These are not mid-tier white collar jobs. These are extraordinarily high skilled jobs being automated by agentic AI."
This is the head of one of the most successful hedge funds in history saying the people he pays seven figures to analyze markets and structure deals are being replaced by software that works in hours instead of months. Not theoretically. In his own office. Right now.
The Coatue deck we covered earlier this week called agents "the biggest unlock" in AI. Griffin just confirmed it from the buy side. The shift from copilots to agents is not a future event. It is already happening at the highest levels of finance.
Former ESPN president John Skipper on the "dangerous scenario" the NFL is headed towards — where tech and streaming giants don't need an NFL package in order to exist.
You know what I don't like? I don't like the fact that in the https://t.co/6LLzx3UYtB discussion of the #Guardians trade for catcher Patrick Bailey, the phrase "you know" appeared over *** 170 *** times. Geesh, if the writers are that lame and you won't spend a dime on copy-editing, at least ask your AI transcriber to edit out the phrase.

All official MLB baseballs are hand-stitched at the Rawlings factory in Costa Rica.
No one has yet created a machine that can do it with the necessary precision.
Each one has exactly 108 double stitches (216 in total).
This could be the best gift I've ever gotten.
After our QB Class episode, Sawyer Robertson gave me this and I had to get it framed... a freakin' MIKE LEACH CALL SHEET!
I truly can't get over this, what a great man Mike Leach was.
Thank you, Sawyer! I'll always cherish this!
Arthur Smith would be so proud, we had 22 Tight Ends drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, The most since 2002
Daniel Jeremiah talked about the team’s wanting to copy the Rams in using tight ends to force teams out of the two-high safety shell defense

That's the tough part of building decent roster before drafting your QB. #Browns won 5 games last year & had 6th pick. Three of the 4 QBs likely to be gone before then. Winning 7-8 games would be a killer. Would show Sanders & Watson not good enough & might not get Top 10 pick.
#Browns own 10 picks in 2027 NFL Draft
own 1-5 & 7th rounds
Giants 4th
Seattle 4th
Texans 5th & 7th
Hard to lose enough with an improving roster to get a top QB (Julian Sayin, Dante Moore, Arch Manning or Brendan Sorsby) without a major trade with a willing partner.

Maybe I'm missing the point but if you click on the chart it reveals Heidenreich and another receiver that weren't shown by X without the full view.
