‼️$1.5m+ in CSGO SKINS BANNED‼️
Gamebred who scammed @rich_foreskin been banned fortunately. In the same ban wave, everyone who had traded with him for the past week was also banned Please take a look @CounterStrike@Steam
Retweets appreciated to help fix!
First, here’s a list of all accounts affected unintentionally: 76561197977865694, 76561198303804534, 76561198280249562, 76561198156288216, 76561198364014139, 76561198396920167, 76561198217337396, 76561198120256540, 76561198078974438, 76561199168001818, 76561198431444043
All these accounts received a trade ban, just for having a trade within the last 8days~ with the scammer.
As you can see below, a few days ago, I posted a tweet about the scam and due to community reports the scammer Gamebred was banned. https://t.co/HKRnFqLHgO
Now, there are 11 (and maybe more) accounts banned due to 1 scammer. Most of the users only SENT a skin to the scammer, so it’s unclear why they would even be banned for that. You can even see some of the trades were on March 22, a week before the scam. Furthermore, all the trades happened before the public tweet, so the banned users couldn’t have known.
All steam requests have been met with a copy and paste reply from steam support citing user reports on the accounts. However, why would all these accounts get the reports? It’s clear they were banned from interacting with Gamebred.
This is not a good look for steam, as there have been an increase in false bans and I urge Steam Support to take a look at this and get it resolved. If Steam’s new policy is any interaction with a scammer (regardless of whether it was possible to know) results in a permanent trade ban all p2p sites are in trouble.
@0xTnK@zipelCS@ohnePixel@anomalyxd I had this issue for months, got people almost daily in my comments saying I scammed them. Then I got trade banned and steam rejected my appeals since January. So yes, you should try everything to get rid of these impersonators
@sh9ce I just did some digging. The day before my ban, I bought skins worth $50k. I bought some (~$7k) (through a middle man) from a guy who has been community banned now. After reviewing his item history, its likely those items were indeed scammed. This might be the reason?
After 13 unsuccessful appeals for my trade ban, I have now written my 14th.
To everyone who has been unjustly banned before, what was the amount of tickets it took to get unbanned?
When I got community banned in 2021, it took me just 1 ticket to get unbanned, so I am wondering
‼️$130 000 Tradebanned‼️
Hello folks, I got tradebanned.
Steam support denied my ticket, saying they have evidence that I scammed.
People contacted me before, that they get added by impersonators etc. and that there are api scams using my persona. Any ideas what I can do?
@sh9ce I probably have been getting some scammed items from sites from time to time. But in the tickets they keep saying that users reported me for scamming. I indeed had many comments on my profile of people calling me a scammer, bc I had many discord impersonators.

@CitrusDeLaCreme I made the first ticket in German, the following 13 in English. Funny enough, for ticket 11-14 I have gotten German replies, even though I wrote the ticket in English
‼️$130 000 gone‼️
After 10 unsuccesful tickets, I have now been banned from creating support tickets for a month.
I only ever received copy pasted replies, never anything of substance.
Would it help to keep creating tickets from other accounts?

Well over $1,600,000 was just STOLEN from CSmoney
-We have found 30+ accounts that are linked to the hackers (there are more we haven't found)
-I suspect that that the hackers sent skins to high tier traders as a distraction
-This is the largest website hack we've ever seen
