XRPL is building a future where you won’t need to SELL your $XRP to earn from it.

And once you understand how it works, the entire idea of holding XRP changes. 👀

Most retail holders know only one path:

Buy XRP. Hold XRP. Eventually sell XRP to realize value.

The XLS-65 Single Asset Vault + XLS-66 Lending Protocol introduces another possibility.

You deposit XRP into a public XRP vault.
You receive Vault Shares representing your ownership.
Your XRP joins XRP deposited by other holders.

That pooled liquidity can then be lent to approved institutional borrowers.

The borrower pays back:

XRP principal + XRP interest.

After the loan manager's fee, the remaining interest accrues to the vault.

So instead of your XRP sitting idle:

XRP → vault → institutional borrower → interest → vault → you redeem more XRP.

That is the part that blows my mind.

Ripple explicitly says XRP can be borrowed and lent, and XRPL documentation says lending-vault yield can be paid in the same asset deposited.

Meaning an XRP vault can be:

Deposit XRP.
Earn in XRP.
Withdraw XRP.

And public vaults are designed so anyone can deposit.
Now imagine thousands of smaller XRP holders combining their liquidity.

10,000 holders may individually be small.

Together?

They can create an institutional-sized XRP lending pool.

And we already have a clue about where this is going.

Evernorth is preparing to use XLS-66 to generate institutional-grade yield on its XRP holdings.

Meanwhile Ripple, Clearpool and Cicada Partners are building the institutional borrower side on XRPL, beginning with RLUSD credit markets.

My long-term thesis is simple:

Institutions need liquidity.
Retail holders have XRP.
XRPL can connect the two.

Instead of selling XRP to make money from XRP, holders could eventually make XRP productive by lending it.

That is a completely different holder economy.
