Our Explorers enjoyed a night canoeing and Kayaking on Fishmoor Reservoir tonight. The rain held off so we enjoyed a relatively dry session. The Explorers continued to develop their paddling skills which we hope will continue to improve during the year #skillsforlife

I’d like to say a massive thankyou to the Directors of @Hargreaves_Cont for their amazing support for our work to improve Canalside for our users. The site is run solely by volunteers so support like this is especially important.

Work has started on extending our gravel paths on site to improve access for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. This important work has been supported by a wonderful donation of £1000 by @Hargreaves_Cont. A massive thankyou you from all our volunteers.

This morning our Explorers renewed their promise in the sunshine at @CanalsideBBurn and then made #upcycle benches out of pallets for seating around the fire ... great work 👍
