@CTVBarrieNews 4/4 When we got into the cafeteria the coughing stopped for most. We all just hung out in the cafeteria, sharing food with those who forgot their bags and trying to figure out what happened. After the hold and secure was lifted many decided to go home.

@CTVBarrieNews Inside story here from a student. My class which was in the library in the hall that the incident happened in. We were watching a presentation when we saw some people walk by covering their mouths and then a moment later the announcement for hold and secure was called. 1/3?

@CTVBarrieNews 3/4 After a few minutes we started to smell something and a few of us started coughing. We were then told to leave and go to the cafeteria on the other side of the school. As we were walking whenever we tried to speak we’d start coughing, and our throats hurt

@CTVBarrieNews 2/3? The staff that were in the library locked the doors and they told us that someone got sprayed with pepper spray. We didn’t think much of it at the time. That is until we saw a police truck, a fire truck and an ambulance through the window (photo above)

-Math 🟡 it was exciting, not for the math part, but the class was funny and the teacher was a dork.
-science 🟢 it felt like forever, like walking through slime
-geography 🔴 the class got a bit too loud at times
-media arts 💙 it was nice and calm
