Today we announce our financial support to @AnaesUnited and the parents of Emily Chesterton in their legal case against @gmcuk on its failure to properly distinguish between doctors, PAs and AAs.

Our support will protect AU and the Chestertons from the risk of financial loss arising from the case and is in addition to our own ongoing legal challenge against the GMC.

We also seek assurances from @wesstreeting that the Government will not use public money to defend this case.

@DrHannahLunch It’s true—just look at Addenbrookes, Cambridge. They were the first to take on Epic for £500m (now down to £100m onboarding), almost bankrupt, now one of the best financially performing NHS trusts. Epic captures activity better and bills more effectively than most other systems.

£500 rent is way too low probably around £800-1000, plus you’ve forgotten council tax which is probably another £150-250
Car insurance for most has double/tripled last year so more like £300

We've not asked for pay restoration in one go and it's misleading to say the cost of pay restoration would be £3bn – that assumes Junior Doctors pay no tax. In reality the cost to Government would be £1.3bn, less than half of the cost to the NHS of the strikes to date.
