In 2012, a real-estate agent accused the judge of having participated in illegal property dealings involving undervaluation and cash transactions worth several crores. In 2017, a prisoner in Punjab filed a complaint listing eight cases heard by Kant, and alleged that the judge had accepted bribes to grant bail in these. Though these complaints have been sitting with the collegium for over six years, Kant remained a judge at the Punjab and Haryana High Court till October 2018, when he was appointed the chief justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court. The collegium recommended his name for the post even though the questions arising from the complaint had not been resolved, and according to a former Supreme Court judge, it will do so again—this time, for elevation to the apex court.

The project intends to digitise milking records and link them to the milch animals, thereby helping authorities monitor real milk output.

The Neville D’Souza Football turf being snatched away by @CMOMaharashtra to be made into a convention centre, by a bjp- loved contractor, and then named after a bjp leader.

Football and open space being snatched away from Bandra West.

Mumbai’s only full size artificial turf officially used for football games being snatched away.

Open space reduction= direct increase in traffic, construction activity, gated cement structure instead of a playground.

Soon other playgrounds will be converted too. One falls, the rest will follow.

Just like the 16 acres of open space being given to a bjp MLC!!

Taking away Bandra’s beloved footballing culture for personal goals as a convention centre because the party held a conference there in 1979/80 is absurd.

Jantar Mantar protests did a world of good to India and Indians. It empowered students across states. It focussed on education as a need, a demand and a right that should be fought for. Indian students are done waiting. A wave of protests have hit UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP, Maharashtra & Jharkhand etc.

In Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, about 1,500 students, Classes 6-12, staged a 6-hour sit-in at Sarvodaya Inter College. No fans, no library, no computer lab, unsafe drinking water, broken desks. Officials came calling within a day.

In Gays, Bihar, A government school with a broken hand pump, dead fans, shattered benches. Students protested and refused to speak to a junior official. They demanded the District Magistrate himself show up. He did.

In Jalore, Rajasthan, students locked the gates themselves, demanding teachers for grades 1-3 that simply weren’t there.

In Barmer’s Ramsar school, same story. Kids literally not being taught subjects due to staff shortages.

Across MP, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Similar walkouts reported. Same core demands echoing across states: functional fans, clean water, hygienic toilets, teachers actually in the classroom.

What Jantar Mantar protests achieved is exceptional. India is discussing education, faculty shortages, unfairness, paper leaks, lack of school infrastructure. None of these demands are unreasonable and the minimum a public school owes a child. The fact it took a viral sit in to get it fixed is the real story.

I only wish this continues. We should continue to bring student issues to the forefront. Empower them with coverage, conversations. This can’t be allowed to fade as a one week news cycle. Keep asking. Keep covering. About vacant teacher posts in your district? What happened to the school infrastructure budget? Tag your local officials.

Don’t let this fade.

UP Government has ordered schools to be shut for nine-days due to Kanwariyas, of course education is not a priority. Online classes are a joke!
Come winter, they will again shut schools due to pollution. Same story during summer. They are playing with the future of kids. Schools shut but on the other hand if you look around, every other day a new liquor shop pops up in Noida/Ghaziabad/Greater Noida

All I did was upload this other one posted by BJP and asked AI to create a similar chart which leads to the opposite conclusion by choosing different data points. The point is to show how easy it is to mislead people with statistics.

By the way, mine still has more credible data for each point with verified sources unlike the BJP one. At least I made other AIs double check all the data :)
