He has quietly built one of the best resumes in college football: 9,183 passing yds 73 Touchdowns (school record) against just 24 INTs Coming off a massive campaign last season: 3,228 yards & 29 TDs to lead Arizona to 9 wins Former Texas Tech gunslinger, OC Seth Doege’s DNA is pure Air Raid. But what he’s dialed up at Arizona isn't some gimmicky, 1-D, pass-happy scheme—it's incredibly balanced & plays heavily w/ tempo By spreading defenses horizontally, Doege has completely unlocked a new dimension of Fifita’s game: his legs. Early career, Fifita was almost strictly a pocket passer. Last year, Doege opened up massive running lanes, & Fifita responded by rushing for 216 yards and 3 TDs—including a highly dynamic, game-high performance on the ground in their bowl game But a point-guard QB needs weapons to distribute to & the Wildcats retooled well: The In-House Explosiveness: Big-time 6’4” target Tre Spivey (who led the team in TD catches) & Chris Hunter are primed to take over as the definitive WR1 and WR2. Upfront, veteran DL Tre Smith is healthy & ready to cause havoc in the backfield. Portal Reinforcements: Stacked their safety room w/ elite, physical playmakers: pulling in safety Malcolm Hartzog Jr. (from Nebraska), Daylen Austin (Oregon), and Cam Chapa All-Big Sky 1st-team SS w/ 88 tackles and 4 INT (and sick last name for SS) Brennan didn't just plug holes; he brought in guys who fit his physical, high-motor defensive identity. This group has depth, speed, & experience to match the offensive prowess THE PLAY: 9+ wins +240 2.5U We are buying the Wildcats early. The books are still pricing them like a team in transition.
