メガシンカの登場でメガ強化されたメタングBOXがオンライン大会で優勝し話題！昨日行われていたLastPrize Seriesは66名が参加となりスイスラウンドのみで競われたオンライン大会。Regionalで準優勝した実績をもち、たびたび紹介させていただいている🇺🇸Evan Campbellさんが、本デッキを使い全8回戦を7 勝1敗で1位タイに。最終的にはオポ差を制して見事優勝に輝いた。

久しぶりの紹介となったメタングは特性メタルメーカーで鋼エネの加速役を担う。エレキジェネレーターと同様に山を上から見て当たったエネを加速するが、つけられる���ネの数に制限がなく、かつすべてのタイプのポケモンにバトル場/ベンチを問わず適用できる。見れる枚数は4枚と少な目ではあるものの、自由につけられることから本デッキのようなBOX構築を組めるのは強み。

2枚採用されている水オーガポンは1エネのすすりなくで逃げロックしつつ、スボミーのグッズロックと同様、メタングの準備をする時間を稼ぐコントローラーでありながら、プリズムエネ＋2エネで使えるげきりゅうポンプで相手の場を崩していくアタッカー。山に戻ってしまったエネはメタルメーカーで再利用しやすいのでその点でも相性が良い。

メガガルーラ、ミュウ、キチキギスはドロソースとして盤面形成を手伝いながら、いずれもエネ要求が無色なためアタッカーとしても運用可能。ガルーラの中打点、ミュウのワザコピー、キチキギスのベンチ攻撃と多彩なオプションとなる。そして最近紹介することが急増しているメガクチート。3エネ260ダメージの高火力ワザであるビッグバイトと、自分がとったサイドの数×80という超高倍率ワザの2エネがっつくでリーサルウェポンを担う。

リーリエの決心の登場で、ハンドにエネがかさんでしまった時のリフレッシュをさせることもできるようになり、改めてメタングが強くなっていることを実感する。たねで強力な、メガシンカのようなポケモンが増えてくるとますます強さに磨きがかかるデッキかもしれない。
