I would like to take this opportunity to thank H.E @HassanSMohamud for appointing me as his Senior Defense Advisor; I am humbled to continue serving my nation in this new role.

I have tirelessly worked over the past decade to ensure we build the necessary capabilities of our Somali National Armed Forces and focused on institutional reform. Tremendous progress has been made so far, but more needs to be done as we continue our pursuit in defeating terror organizations.

Kudos to the Parliamentary correspondence team and the new Labour government for getting back to me. Meanwhile, the tiny secessionist one clan enclave"Somaliland" refugees in the UK has been busy spinning tales like, "Oh, Liverpool recognized us!" and other fairy tales.
