More engineers is not the solution. Pato will have to learn this the hard way!!
Great to collab with @shreyas 🙏🫡on telling this easy to fall into trap.
Since time immemorial, when a CEO asks a PM at Product Review, “what do you need to 10X users/revenue?”, “what will make you go faster?”, etc
The PM steadfastly responds “We need [N] more engineers”. The Eng Mgr nods approvingly
A story thread, with some hard truths to swallow:
2013: kids expect to be able to pinch to zoom any surface (iPad or physical object)
2023: kids expect anything where they’ve put text to finish their sentence
@nurijanian Thanks for compiling this. I had forgotten about at least one of these threads (#5).
And huge props to @shaunemiller who made thread #1 look really great with his A+ creativity.
@paulg I’ve always loved the pointillés in Vermeer’s works, which strongly hint at his use of a camera obscura (as well the near perfect perspective etc). https://t.co/91uHvIX4p5
His control of light *chef’s kiss*🧑🍳👌
I grew up with a Lhaso Apso and he did not look like those images. The speed of improvement is faster than a child learning to draw from age 11 to 16. HT @nbaschez
The best learning environment is one where the tuition guides you in the context of what you’re learning responding to your action and progress. This is a great read. Have loved the @figmadesign tuts and @bubble onboarding
Not a board game manual next to the board game, but explanation *inside* the board game. Not a YouTube tutorial open next to Logic, but an explanatory medium *inside* Logic.

A most beautiful thing: an artist in France fills holes in sidewalks with mosaics. He is known as the "paving surgeon" and has been "treating the wounds of urban streets since 2016."
