Overheard at the grocery store, "That has enough plausible deniability that'll we'll be able to deny it was the plan all along." - Millennial White Male, Williamsburg, NY
This is the problem with the American system. It rewards this type of thinking.
@TaylorTwellman I finally figured out why Messi walks so much. He’s hiding.
As the best player on any field the other team is always watching him, so it’s a waste of energy to try and out run them.
He needs his team to distract the defenders so he can find pockets of space.
@RBReich When a literal rocket scientist with unlimited resources and sizable influence retweets disinformation they help highlight how compromised our systems libel laws are.. A system designed to shield the rich and exploit the poor

@LeonidasPlatan1@JohnFetterman Unfortunately, rewarding deception is the life blood of capitalism and by default the American way. Just look at our last President and “corporate regulations” if you don’t believe me.. Stay diligent my friends
@philxbuchanan @AnandWrites His thread of tweets weren’t condescending, they were a literal scolding.
Which accidentally makes your statement correct, because that would mean it’s not patently ridiculous either.
It makes me think that whoever pays you to do what you do could do better.
@susanbordson@AnandWrites Are you saying, “If only you saw how hard it is to constantly drive profit growth, you’d understand why we exploit resources and workers”?
Because that’s what it sounds like..
The issue is bigger than us, it’s the investor class mandate for constant growth that’s the problem..

Let's talk about what these Orwellian terms really mean at @Amazon and why lawmakers must step in to #ProtectAmazonWorkers.

@bpmehlman@pewresearch Cool! this study also doubles as a way to show how effective Fox talk radio can be in gaslighting people..
Please note how the liberal leaning side actually sites multiple sources as their “only”.. that’s actually Pew’s way of throwing shade
@michelleinbklyn@AnandWrites The issue is that the system has this loophole already built in because of its racist past..
It’s always been there, the more devout sections of the GOP Just needed someone troubled enough to try using it again..
That’s why Trump’s their useful idiot
The fact of the matter is the United States has engaged in a program of mass human rights violations targeting immigrants.
This includes mass child separation, systemic sexual assault of people in detention, kangaroo-court procedures, & more.
Our country must atone for it all.
@michaelharriot I would vote for Maya Wiley in a heartbeat for Mayor of NYC. Her commentary on so many issues is always on point, because she really knows her shit.. we need to get her name out there!
Also, de Blasio exposed himself as a systemic racist loving ass clown during the protests
@HeerJeet@AnandWrites You’re aware there more pressing issues to adress as a civilization, right?
Because, if we don’t, when your precious beings arrive we may have descimated all life on earth through a climate catastrophe because of exploitive capitalism compromising our ability to govern
@AnandWrites Having worked at 8 corporations for 24 brands, I wholeheartedly concur with this statement..
Corporate decision makers are often chosen because of their ability to provide profits & navigate the culture while maintaining their unflinching allegiance with ownership’s directives.
