According to Des Plaines Valley News, Village of McCook's Major Terrance Carr has shared a proposal with The #Bears to have the team consider a 150+ acre site for their new stadium.
The site is at 55th Street & East Avenue in McCook, a formerly quarry land.
The proposal includes either the village or the team would buy the land ($160M), the Bear would build a 80,000-seat stadium, give it to the village, and then rent would be $1 a year.
Since it would be a publicly owned stadium, it'd be exempt from property taxes.
McCook is roughly 18 minutes west of Soldier Field w/o traffic.
Another interesting proposal. Thoughts?

In baseball news, Yankee captain Don Mattingly may be headed for Japan.
Sources say that's he excited about the chance to play overseas, particularly in a league where he would have the biggest hog.
To illustrate the point that their client is running out of money to defend himself, O.J. Simpson's lawyers said this week that...
If he had to do it over again, after killing his victims, O.J. would now rob them as well.
@ElkinsCattleCo I wasn’t able to read the label, but it would have to be marked enhanced or something right?
What do you think is happening with all the DNA‘s in the ground beef? That’s odd.
