As I study the prison prayers of the apostle Paul what he prayed for is fascinating and this thought hit me: God is more interested in doing something in us than for us and the greatest thing he can do for us is to do something in us. Meditate on that.
Nothing wrong with letting your children play sports. But there is definitely something wrong with letting them miss church attendance multiple weeks out of the year in order to play sports. Dad’s and moms, seek first the Kingdom of God. Don’t lead your children away from Jesus.
