@English_MrsD I love this play but be aware that Portia is often taught as a heroine and her blatant racism is skipped over.
I like the Radford film which aims to set it in its historical context and highlights some of the hypocrisy.

I have a friend who has left a supermarket before because of the noise made by the fridges.
My sister can’t bear to have anyone eat near her because the noise is just too much. (Eating at the same time helps.)
These “little” things are hard!

Today I thought the YPs had been great.

Then I discovered that half my pack of Uno cards had gone missing…

To be fair, most of them are lovely and I have strong suspicions who it was. The advantage of small groups is that you can really get to know them and have a laugh.

My knowledge is limited but I had some information on the Berlin conference.

@HughesHaili I was terrified of being 40.
When I reached that milestone I had a massive party but otherwise could not work out why I had been so scared.
Now 51.
Life is what I make it.
I’ve never been so happy or confident. Or, for that matter, so fat or unfit. Fact.
