There is growing speculation about the enforcement of Labour's social media ban for Under-16s involving restrictions or bans on VPNs.
Make no mistake, if this is introduced, it will mean an end to online privacy, and the state will know exactly who is looking at what at all times if they so choose.
The only other states with restrictions on VPNs are China, Russia, Iran, Oman, the UAE, Turkey and India.
This is a dark direction of policy even for the Labour Party.

MPs are told that some student loans in England can be compared to major financial scandals like car finance and PPI. The man making the claim is Sir Philip Augar and he's with me @Moneybox@BBCRadio4 midday
@jeremycorbyn Don’t forget to call out Hamas to be held account and condemned for their barbaric inhuman actions, before after and since. Your silence is on this point does you no credit and disqualifies you from having any authority to condemn Israel.
@garyseconomics Reform are bad but the far left of the #Greens are even worse. The problem is they don’t see it because they are so wrapped up in their own superstitious ideology and utter belief that anyone sane must believe as they otherwise they are far right.
For those who choose to ignore, or don’t blame Hamas for the start of chain of awful events they are being wilfully negligent or disingenuous.
#Hamas’s sexual terrorism is laid bare and still the world looks away

We were better than Greece who placed higher. The problem is we, like Germany, don’t have an expat diaspora in the same way that many other countries do. But it wasn’t a great song.
Polanski didn’t pay council tax, didn’t vote in local elections and didn’t have a plan or policies for local government. He’s Farage’s mirror. https://t.co/RRuBT3aWpQ
