The Health Ministry and NBEMS, instead of fixing the ongoing date fiasco, have spilled it all over again by announcing a new, perplexing timeline. With the #NEETPG2026 exam now fixed on 30th August 2026, the ripple effects are obvious �� the 2023 MD/MS batch will start leaving hospitals from August 2026, and counselling is likely to stretch into Nov–Dec 2026, as it does every passing year.

This means hospitals will again lose critical manpower, forcing them to function with only two resident batches for months. Yet, this hidden healthcare burden continues to receive the least priority.

This is not just about aspirants anymore. It reflects a deeper systemic planning failure that will directly impact government hospitals and already overworked resident doctors.

Some cities within a state r farther away than cities in a neighbouring state and yet candidates who paid ₹4k are being sent to the farthest possible centres.

Initial feedback from many students indicates that centres are being allotted 300-400 km away from their home cities. Is INICET following the NEET pattern of torturing students?
Around 1 lakh students are giving the exam. It again shows how unprepared the authorities are to conduct this exam normally
