@SighDUX Maybe one of the funniest d2 posts in the past month every moment intricately crafted to be the most pristine ragebait imaginable hats off to you
@doctavaughn@YellingMadman@MikaRBW 1) He was on a free kit so he lost literally nothing, no reason to not just take this as a learning experience and move on.
2) He’s a grifter, and is deleting posts where people try to help him because he isn’t rage farming successfully. No sympathy for the devil
@bungieman28 The onboarding could definitely use some work and the devs said it’ll be updated with s3 but even then, crashing out because you die on a free kit run after the game warns you that you will probably die and to take it as a learning experience feels disingenuous.
@bungieman28 Like I understand wanting to have empathy for those struggling to learn. But this guy is just clearly grifter and we need to call these people out because they do nothing but stop people from wanting to try the game we love.
@bungieman28 he literally deleted a post where people actually tried to help him understand how to find the objectives for a quest to repost it as a different hate grift because he realized the previous one wasn’t working. No sympathy for the devil.
@bungieman28 this guy made up his mind about the game a long time ago he’s an engagement farmer riding the hate grift. His only commentary about it has been “this game sucks and nobody likes it”. You’re giving this guy way too much leeway and his later posts prove it 🤷
This is my first ever run in Marathon. I'm 20 minutes in, just finished the tutorial.
I guess part of the "new player orientation" is to not explain mechanics and just hope you don't quit after auto-spawning in an entire fleet of USEC's to kill you at exfil.
@hiyukiswife my take on the rushed development problem is Part 1 was pretty obviously all setup, it served mainly to introduce a lot of characters that will be fleshed out in the future, from that perspective he did a pretty good job I’d say considering I still remember most of them
@Nymixil I think that would be amazing but unfortunately not a very realistic solution given bungie’s track record with anticheat. Problem is having a rank/reward attatched to the mode will always encourage cheaters to play it
@oFernando935@PaperThiago The assault UESC have cabal shields! If you shoot the spot where their gun pokes through the shield you can break it much faster.
@Strixouille@kelskiYT the new gamemode will be great for learning, but trust me you can go in with 5k kit value and come up big. There is a shield room with guaranteed blues and if you’re a little lucky a purple, a room that is always stacked with meds, a room with blue and purple backpacks etc.
