I have FINALLY updated my sheet to include price changes and include the $40 flat color pieces!
Additionally, I'm now up on VGen and Ko-Fi! My links have been updated if you're interested!
@yggdrasilsaltar@coalwomann I remember being so excited seeing Radical Highway cut into space colony ark & inferring that meant shadow's stages might have two levels represented in one stage with some cinematic bridge between the two environments, with maybe some source game double dipping
boy was I wrong
@coalwomann (just to clarify, I like Shadow 05, I played it before shadow gens and enjoyed most of my time with it and really liked its structure. It's just not my fav in the series)
@coalwomann while I don't share the same level of love for Shadow 05 as you, I do enjoy its true conclusion for Shadow's arc and its level ideas were really cool so I understand your disappointment
however thats a conceptual issue. The content that exists in ShGens isn't badly made
@coalwomann it's not perfect, I'm still burned by how they didn't go full force in embracing Shadow (Space Colony Ark Act 1 being more Final Rush than Final Chase, No Shadow 05 rep outside of Westopolis skydive in Radical Highway Act 2, Chaos Island taking up a stage slot)
but it ain't bad
@coalwomann it's funny seeing the sonic cycle in full swing
the level design is fine, just not as phenomenal as the standard set by the other half of the game. The issue lies in how they sacrificed replayability for the spectacle of the in-game cinematics & how that bottlenecks stage design
@AshPizzaWitch@HarrisonTheHutt@SpongeBandiMark Toys for bob were really fighting for more Crash stuff
Hell, even Team Rumble was completely gutted in order to make it out the door
Full stop, blame Activision for what happened to Crash

I can probably be fact checked on that but there is no lie in saying that 6th gen gaming had a vibe that 7th gen began sanding away, leaving the husk of 8th/9th gen gaming we have now
critical loss of sauce happened in gaming when somewhere between the 6th and 7th generation of consoles, games kinda stopped having comic artists do concept art
@Junk_sonic I can't really agree that playing Sa2 mainly with chao garden in mind is larp, but there's definitely a difference between someone who plays sa2 for the main stages and missions and has beat the game vs someone who's spend countless hours in the chao garden and hasn't beaten it
@Junk_sonic it's only required if you care to achieve 100% and Green Hill Zone. Which again, makes it a definite part of the full experience, but not necessarily a core element. I'd argue it's probably an even split of people who have played Sa2 that have & haven't spent time in chao garden
