NEWS: A previously never-before-seen prototype screenshot of Sonic 1 has been uncovered! #SonicNews

Found in the recently uploaded August 1991 issue of Hippon Super, it shows a different Buzzbomber design, with the badnik possessing a visor instead of large round eyes.

The screenshot was found by Black Squirrel over on the Sonic Retro forums, who's been keeping tabs on efforts to preserve the magazine by uploading it to Internet Archive.
